As a a little add-on to our Tortoise preview post we’ve manage to secure a free download of ‘Prepare Your Coffin’ taken from their acclaimed new record Beacons of Ancestorship.
Cluster
We’re pleased to announce support for Tortoise this November will come from krautrock luminaries Cluster.
Following a series of acclaimed records in the early seventies on renown krautrock label Brain Records, Cluster went on to collaborate with the likes of Kraftwerk producer Conny Plank, NEU! founder Michael Rother and Brian Eno.
Throughout the seventies and early eighties Cluster worked extensively with members of Can and Tangerine Dream, bringing further critical acclaim and cementing their position at the heart of perhaps the most influential musical scene in twentieth century electronic music.
Their much anticipated return to London this November follows the release of Qua, their first studio album in over a decade.
